Accessibility Statement
Updated October 10, 2026
We want everyone to be able to use Laundry Lift, including people with disabilities. Our goal is for our website and apps to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, in line with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
What we've built in
- An accessibility menu on every page. It's the person icon at the top right. From there you can turn on larger text, high contrast, an easy-read font and underlined links, or stop all animations. Your choices are saved in your browser.
- Full keyboard navigation, a "Skip to content" link and clear focus outlines
- Labels for screen readers on every form field and button, plus spoken announcements for messages and price updates
- Text and buttons that meet the WCAG AA color contrast requirements
- Respect for your device's "reduce motion" setting, which turns off the floating bubbles automatically
- Layouts that adapt to phone screens and to browser zoom up to 200%
- Order status shown as text, so you never need the map to follow your order
- Support for VoiceOver and TalkBack in the mobile app, which also follows your phone's text size and reduce-motion settings
Known limitations
- The live map is visual. Your order's status and every update appear as text above it.
- Payment pages are hosted by Stripe, which runs its own accessibility program.
Need help or found a barrier?
Email ssandate04@gmail.com. We'll reply within 2 business days, and we can book your order for you by email or phone in the meantime. Please tell us the page and the problem you ran into so we can fix it.
We test with keyboard-only navigation, screen readers and automated checks, and we review accessibility whenever we add new features.
