Privacy Policy

Laundry Lift LLC ("we") runs a laundry pickup and delivery service in Arizona. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers our website, web app and mobile apps.

The short version: we collect only what we need to pick up, clean and return your laundry and to charge you for it. We don't sell or share your personal information for advertising. We don't run ad trackers or analytics cookies. You can download or delete your data from your account at any time.

What we collect

Account details: your email address, plus the name, mobile number, street address and ZIP code you give us.
Google or Apple sign-in: if you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, they share your name and email address with us (Apple lets you hide your email behind a private relay address). We never get your Google or Apple password. We use this name and email only to create and sign in to your Laundry Lift account and to contact you about your orders. We don't use it for advertising, don't sell it, and don't share it except with the service providers listed below. Our use of information received from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Deleting your account deletes this information (see below).
Order details: pickup dates and windows, the services you choose, your notes (such as gate codes), weights, prices, tips, ratings and order status.
Payment details: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep only a Stripe customer ID, your payment status and receipt totals.
Proof photos: our Bubble Buddies photograph your laundry bags at pickup and drop-off, the scale reading when we weigh your laundry, or the pickup spot if no bags are out. These photos show your doorstep area and are visible only to you and our staff. They're deleted when you delete your account.
Driver location: while a Bubble Buddy is out on a route, we share their phone's location so you can track your order. We don't collect your device's location.
Technical data: our hosting and database providers automatically log things like IP address, browser type and request times, for security and reliability. Your browser stores your sign-in session and your accessibility settings locally. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use it

To schedule, pick up, clean, deliver and support your orders, and to contact you about them by email, call or text
To process payments and Lift Pass subscriptions, and to send receipts
To prevent fraud and abuse, keep the Service secure, and enforce our Terms
To improve our service, for example by looking at ratings and order patterns
To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements

We'll only send marketing messages if you agree to them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run Laundry Lift, and only what each one needs to do its job:

Supabase: our database, sign-in and server functions (hosted in the U.S.)
Google and Apple: only if you choose to sign in with them
Stripe: payments, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and receipts. Stripe's own privacy policy also applies to your payment details.
Our website host (Netlify or Cloudflare) and our email provider, which sends your sign-in codes
Map providers: OpenStreetMap on the website, and Apple Maps or Google Maps in the app. They receive your IP address when map tiles load. Google Fonts also receives your IP address when it loads our fonts.
Our staff and drivers, who see the name, address, phone number and notes for the orders they handle

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business. We do not sell personal information, and we don't "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor Global Privacy Control signals, although we have nothing to opt you out of.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and order history while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your profile right away and remove your saved payment methods from Stripe. We keep a record of each past order (date, services, amounts paid and the ZIP code) for tax and accounting, but erase your name, contact details, street address, notes, reviews and photos, so the record is no longer linked to you. Stripe and our accountants may keep transaction records for as long as tax and financial laws require, usually up to 7 years. Server logs are deleted on our providers' normal schedules.

Your choices and rights

Access and portability: sign in on our website and choose Download my data under Account to get your profile and orders.
Correction: edit your details in Account at any time.
Deletion: in Account, choose Delete account on the website or in the app. You can also email us.
Texts: reply STOP to any text, or email us.

Depending on your state (for example, California, Colorado, Virginia or Texas), you may also have the right to know what we collect, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of sales, targeted advertising or profiling. We give these rights to every customer, no matter where you live, and we won't treat you differently for using them. To make a request, email ssandate04@gmail.com from the email address on your account so we can verify it's you. You can also have an authorized agent contact us for you. If we turn down your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer.

Security

All data travels over HTTPS. You sign in with single-use email codes, so there are no passwords to steal. Database row-level security means each customer can only reach their own records, and payment data stays with Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. No system is perfectly secure, though. If a breach ever affects your personal information, we'll notify you as Arizona law (A.R.S. § 18-552) and other applicable laws require.

Children

The Service is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. For material changes, we'll also notify you in the app or by email.
